We are committed to fulfilling our responsibilities towards the communities we serve and the environment within which we all live.
People
Modern slavery
41,000 individuals were living in modern slavery in Australia in 2021*. We are acutely aware that construction is a high-risk industry, which is why we’ve put in place modern slavery and human trafficking policies, training and monitoring.
Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander communities
We employ members of the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander communities and, wherever possible, encourage engagement with their cultures.
Encouraging young workers
We provide young people with workplace experience by offering HSC students a chance to upskill and become qualified in our industry.
Supporting humanitarian causes
Our group supports Cancer Council Australia as well as Rapid Relief Team, which provides assistance to people in crisis around the world.
The environment
Sustainability in our projects
We strive to apply the most sustainable approaches to our projects. Our supply chain consists of like-minded suppliers which are equally concerned about the environment.
Energy efficiency
Our group runs about 80% of its facility on solar power. In 2020, our solar panels produced 114MWh of energy – enough to run about 230 refrigerators for a whole year.
