What set this project apart was the depth of engagement with the College’s science faculty. Teachers brought forward years of insight, how students interact with experiments, where engagement is won or lost, and what truly supports learning outcomes. This level of input allowed the design to move beyond standard lab upgrades and instead bring to life a vision that had long been anticipated by the teaching team.

The outcome is a series of Physics Labs designed to draw students into the subject spaces that encourage exploration, collaboration, and confidence in learning.

As specialists in live environment refurbishments, Dynamis established early alignment across all stakeholders. This forward-planning approach allowed potential challenges to be identified and resolved well before they could impact delivery, maintaining programme certainty while minimising disruption to the operational school environment.

Beyond a conventional upgrade, the project demonstrates the impact of genuine alignment between education, design, and construction delivery creating environments that actively enhance both teaching practice and student engagement.
