New Science Lab 6

From the outset, student-engagement and workflow guided every decision. Close collaboration with staff and students helped our team understand the College’s values, teaching methods, and priorities, ensuring the lab would be safe, functional, and engaging. Together, we created a space where students can experiment freely, explore concepts, and teachers can deliver lessons with confidence.

The project involved a thoughtful transformation of an existing GLA space to create a modern and highly functional learning environment. Fit-for-purpose laboratory-grade joinery and fixtures, including collaborative lab benches, integrated sinks, and a dedicated teacher demonstration area, provides students with the space and tools they need to engage confidently in hands-on experiments.

Technology integration, interactive display connections, and flexible furniture arrangements further support dynamic teaching, allowing the space to respond easily to different lesson formats and activities.

Science Lab 6 now strengthens the College’s science precinct, supporting collaboration, hands-on learning, and discovery.
